If you're looking for the perfect summer mocktail, this blueberry lemonade is sure to hit the spot! Whether you need a fancy drink for a party or just because, this blueberry lemonade is easy to make and has the perfect blend of tart and sweetness.

When I was pregnant a few summers ago, I would get so jealous whenever I'd go out to eat or go to someone's house and everyone got to drink fancy drinks. I had no desire for the alcohol, obviously, but just wanted something fun and pretty to sip on. That's when I made a strawberry lemonade mocktail and my love for homemade lemonade and simple mocktail recipes was born.
So the other night as I was making dinner, I had a craving for something sweet and decided to try making my own blueberry lemonade recipe.
I call it a mocktail because adding fancy lemon sugar makes it feel just like a cocktail you might have while you're out at a restaurant.
This blueberry lemonade mocktail is super easy to make, there's no boiling on the stove or anything like that, just simply using a food processor to puree the blueberries and adding it to a simple lemonade blend!
If you like your lemonade more sweet, you can easily add more sugar, and if not, this blend is a pretty good mix of sweet and tangy, just the way I think homemade lemonade should be.
As a hint, if you're wanting to make this into a regular cocktail, you can add your favorite liquor of choice. I added about an ounce of tequila and used a cocktail shaker to mix it all together and it was the perfect Friday night drink to sip on at home. It's deceivingly light on the tequila though, so consider yourself warned 😉
Because this drink can be easily made into a mocktail or cocktail, it's perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, luncheons or just because you're feelin' fancy! You can also make this even fancier but using frozen blueberries instead of ice cubes.
I actually love the blueberry pieces in the drink, but if you're not a fan, you can run the blueberry puree through a fine mesh strainer to get rid of it before mixing it with the lemonade!
