If you're looking for a perfectly easy-to-make mocktail, this strawberry lemonade mocktail is it! It's so easy to make and enjoy whether you are at a party or just at home enjoying the weather outside!

Summertime reminds me of delicious and fruity drinks that are light and refreshing.
I don't drink cocktails often, but what I've missed while I'm pregnant is the ability to order a pretty drink at a restaurant.
And then I remembered how much I love strawberry lemonade.
So when we made burgers last week, I decided I would make my own pretty drink.
It's easy to make a simple lemonade feel like a fancy drink!
Strawberry lemonade mocktail recipe
Strawberry lemonade is a classic summertime drink and this version of a little summer mocktail is refreshing and so easy to make!
To make it, we take pureed strawberries, sugar and fresh lemon juice and blend it all together.
This mocktail is perfect for a summer barbecue because it is so light and sweet. If you need a larger batch, try this Raspberry Lemonade Punch.
On a hot Arizona day, there is really nothing like it.
Ingredients
Strawberry lemonade is easy to whip up and make into mocktails and cocktails.
Here's what you will need to make homemade strawberry lemonade:
- freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 8 lemons)
- medium strawberries, washed and hulled
- granulated sugar or cane sugar (brown sugar will work too, but it maay affect the rosy red color)
- water — always use filtered water if you can!
You will need a really good blender to make this recipe. We're in love with our Ninja blender.
I also recommend snagging one of these handheld citrus squeezers. You can get out a lot of juice this way! If you don't have one of those, check out this article about the best ways to squeeze lemons.
How to make strawberry lemonade
Strawberry lemonade is a quick drink that you can easily make in just a few minutes.
It's called a "mocktail" because it doesn't contain any alcohol, though if you want to make it a cocktail, you can pour in booze if you like.
It's filled with simple and natural ingredients of strawberries, lemons and sugar. They get blended up together to make the most brilliant red strawberry lemonade.
You can make it as sweet or as tart as you'd like! You can even substitute honey or a non-sugar sweetener if you like.
We also love our tasty, naturally-sweetened Honey Orange Lemonade.
If you want a lighter pink color, you can use fewer strawberries but be mindful that you won't have as much liquid at the end.
Uses for strawberry lemonade
If you wish to make your strawberry lemonade into a cocktail, you can add vodka, rum or tequila. Limoncello would be perfect for the most ultra-lemony drink of all time.
If you'd like to add some extra flavor without adding any alcohol, try adding some zero-proof spirits or a few drops of your favorite bitters.
You can mix with white wine to make a sangria similar to this Peach Raspberry Sangria.
Make it a sparkling strawberry lemonade by adding something bubbly to it, almost like a mimosa or bellini. You can use champagne, sparkling apple cider, sparkling lemonade, ginger ale or ginger beer. Use it in this Ginger Strawberry Bellini.
Make margaritas with tequila, triple sec and don't forget the salt rim!
How to garnish your strawberry lemonade mocktail
To make this strawberry lemonade mocktail feel a bit fancy, I added a sugar rim to a stemless wine glass before pouring in the strawberry lemonade.
To add sugar to your rim easily, pour sugar onto a small, flat plate.
Then run a slice of lemon around your glass and dip into the sugar.
Garnish with a strawberry or a slice of one, and store the remaining lemonade in a large mason jar, bottle or another type of airtight container.
Recipes for a barbecue
Having a fun, festive drink adds an extra layer to a fun barbecue this summer!
Some of our favorite dishes to make are Italian Marinade Pork Chops, No Mayo Pasta Salad and a Strawberry Salad.
I'll finish it up with a No-Bake Strawberry Cream Pie — because no one wants to be baking when it's summertime. Plus, more uses for fresh strawberries!
But truthfully, strawberries can be found all year long, so feel free to make it to serve for Easter brunch, a Christmas party or any kind of gathering.
