About

Hello! Welcome to my little piece of the internet!mad

I’m Madison,?my closest friends call me Mad, which I love. You can call me that, too.

When I first got married,?I had very little cooking experience. “Cooking” meant tearing open a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and calling it a good day.?coffee

I quickly learned though that learning to cook was pretty much a survival technique for our newly married, still in college budgets.

Something began to shirt over time though and I began to really love to cook. It was less about needing to cook for physical survival and became more of a mental survival for me.

When I started this blog I was working full time as a graphic designer and I began to find that I loved working with my hands through cooking after?spending all day behind the computer.

From there, my little blog, called Wetherills Say I Do at the time, began to blossom.?Two years in, A Joyfully Mad Kitchen was born from a desire to hone in on my blogging niche and really begin to try to help people learn to love to cook.

Cooking is never a?tidy experience with me, but then again neither is life.?cupcake

I hope that through the easy recipes I share, you’ll be able to let go of any fears you may have of cooking and at the very least, have a few new tried and true recipes in your back pocket when you need them.

Join me on this adventure to find the?joy in cooking & life.
