What to Serve with Pizza Muffins

Pizza muffins are a great stand-alone snack or appetizer, but when you're eating them for lunch or dinner you may want some side dishes.

Make a big salad like this strawberry spinach salad, or a delicious lemon orzo pasta salad. Easy veggies sides like corn and tomato salad and garlic green beans are also great sides to serve with pizza muffins.

Keep things light and easy by making a simple fruit salad.

And if you're making pizza muffins as an appetizer, there are some great dishes that will pair well alongside it. Cheesy garlic bread and buffalo chicken meatballs are two of my favorites, but whipped feta dip pairs great as well.

Or, serve some pepperoni pizza dip with them, because who's to say there can ever be "too much pizza" at a party? Don't forget dessert dips too! This cannoli dip is to die for.

How to Store Leftover Pizza Muffins

After allowing pizza cups to cool to room temperature on a cooling rack, place into an airtight container. You can also wrap each muffin individually in plastic wrap or aluminum foil.

Then, store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or store in the freezer for up to 3 months.

If you're storing in the freezer, I recommend wrapping each muffin individually and then placing them into a large airtight container.

Tips for Success

Here are some tips and tricks for making this recipe:

  • For extra buttery results, brush melted butter onto freshly baked muffins immediately after they come out of the oven.
