If y’all follow me on Pinterest, you know I love dessert. I’m pretty sure my dessert board has more pins than any other board I have. It’s a real problem. When I find recipes that are easy peasy and not that terrible for you, I’m all over it ? in comes, the Easy as Pie Apple Crisp.
I found this recipe on A. Liz Adventures?and knew I had to try it. As always, I put a little spin on it to make it even easier for me. Plus I got to use my amazing little food processor that Steven got me for Valentine’s Day. He’s a keeper, y’all.
This recipe is super simple and has only a few ingredients, which you might already have at your house! Here you go, you’ll need:
-Two Apples, peeled, cored, and diced
-Caramel (I just used store bought!)
-Layer apples in a small baking dish. This is meant to be a 2-4 serving kind of dish, but you can always double the recipe to make more!
-Drizzle (read: cover) apples with 2-3 tablespoons of caramel
-Then add in 4 tablespoons of oats and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. Chop to combine again. Then add topping to apple and caramel mixture.
-Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly
-Serve with vanilla ice cream! Enjoy 🙂
