Ingredients

chocolate crispy rice cereal
3
tablespoons
butter

10 oz., about 40 marshmallows OR 4 cups miniature marshmallows
toppings: icing
chocolate chips, extra marshmallows, sprinkles, crushed cereal, chocolate candies, etc.
Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
Fold in the chocolate rice cereal and stir until well-coated.
Using a buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13x9x2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Let cool slightly.
While still warm, cut out the rice krispie treats and transfer them to a parchment paper lined cooling rack.
Then, decorate each one with piped icing, chocolate chips and any other desired toppings.
Serve immediately and enjoy!

Feel free to substitute regular crispy rice cereal instead of chocolate if you prefer.
