Ingredients

tablespoons
unsalted butter
1
lb
of mild Italian sausage
18
oz
package of cream cheese
cubed
1
can of RO*TEL with green chiles
¼
cup
of milk
½
cup
of shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Melt butter on medium or large cast iron skillet on medium heat.
Brown sausage, drain grease and return sausage to pan.
Mix in milk and RO*TEL.
Add cubed cream cheese to pan (don't stir).
Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
Remove pan and stir dip.
Add in half of the shredded cheese.
Bake for 10 more minutes then top with remaining cheese and bake for an additional five minutes.
Serve with bread, veggies, chips or crackers.
Notes
Be sure not to stir the cream cheese when adding.
