garlic

packed cup of arugula

packed cup of kale
▢

of olive oil
▢

cup
of pine nuts

of shredded or shaved parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a
food processor
, chop
2 cloves garlic
.
Add in
1 packed cup of arugula
and
1 packed cup of kale
and blend.
Slowly pour in
½ cup of olive oil
.
Add
¼ cup of pine nuts
to food processor and blend.
Add in
½ cup of shredded or shaved parmesan cheese
,
Salt and pepper to taste
and blend until ingredients are well-mixed.
If desired, add more oil to make the sauce thinner.
Taste pesto to see if it needs more salt or pepper. You can even add a splash of lemon juice if some acidity is needed!
