Instructions
Remove drumsticks from the refrigerator and let them come closer to room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat, or about 400ºF.
Pat chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
Season drumsticks generously with BBQ chicken rub, about ¼ cup.
Grill on direct heat for 30 minutes, turning drumsticks about every 8-10 minutes to cook evenly. Cook until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165ºF.
Remove from grill and let drumsticks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can use frozen drumsticks, but be sure they are completely thawed before beginning.
