HOMEMADE PEACH COBBLER

Sweet, soft peaches topped with flaky biscuits make for the best Homemade Peach Cobbler! This easy summer dessert is easy to pull together and serves 9, perfect for summer gatherings. Top this old fashion peach cobbler with a scoop of ice cream or greek yogurt!

INGREDIENTS

Peach Filling – 7 medium peaches – 2 tablespoons brown sugar – 2 tablespoons flour – 1 teaspoon cinnamon – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Biscuits – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 2 teaspoons baking powder – ¼ teaspoon baking soda – 2 tablespoons sugar – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 ½ cups heavy cream

HOMEMADE PEACH COBBLER

Slice peaches into ½ inch thick slices.

Toss peaches with brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and vanilla.

Cook peach mixture in a pan for 4-5 minutes until peaches soften and become saucy.

In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt. Then pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. If the dough is too sticky, add a tablespoon more of flour. You may to fold the dough with your hands.

Place biscuits on top of peach mixture. Brush with cream.

Bake until biscuits are golden brown.
