I tend to have week or two week long cravings when it comes to certain types of foods. Normally it’s Mexican and anything Asian. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been on an egg roll kick. It started off as super random, but with Chinese New Year coming up on February 19th, it felt fitting. I used to think that you had to go to an Asian restaurant to get authentic food, but I’ve since learned that it’s very attainable at home.?Tai Pei? provides authentic restaurant quality Asian appetizers that are incredible!


Apricot Sweet & Sour

  • 1/2 cup ? Apricot preserves
  • 1 TB ? Soy sauce
  • 1 TB ? Rice vinegar
  • 1 TB ? Fresh cilantro, chopped

Soy Chile Sauce

  • 1/4 cup ? Soy sauce
  • 2 TB ? Chile paste -or- chile garlic paste
  • 1 TB ? Green onions, chopped finely
  • 2 tsp ? Honey


Apricot Sweet & Sour

  1. Stir to combine preserves, soy sauce and rice vinegar. Stir in cilantro. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes to thicken slightly.
