The last four weeks have flown by! It does feel like this last trimester will be slightly slower, just because we have a lot less going on than we have over the last 27 weeks. But still, I feel like I blinked and another month has gone by! It’s crazy thinking we have about 12 weeks left until my due date and a maximum of 14 weeks until my 42 week point. I still remember being 12 weeks pregnant and starting to tell everyone.
26 weeks- our day trip to Tucson, details here.
My photos have been lacking this last month and I haven’t taken an “official” bump picture but instead have taken quite a few random bump photos when friends have texted and asked for them. Even though they’re not official, it’s still fun to have these different photos to remember this pregnancy by.
24 weeks- Full details here
Gender:?Boy! See our gender reveal here.
Name:?Greyson Michael (see #LittleGreyMichael for updates)
Due Date:?October 25, 2015
How Far Along: 27 weeks 4 days
Looking down, my feet are officially out of sight unless I lean forward.
After my appointment yesterday, I’m up another 5 lbs for a total of 17lbs!
As of Sunday (my 28 week mark) baby will be the size of an eggplant or 2 ¼ pounds and 14.8 inches long
Lots of movement still! Especially after eating later at night or really any time I’m sitting still. Usually his little kicks are some of the first things I feel each morning. His kicks have turned more into what feels like summersaults but it’s fun to see how much he’s moving around.
No big changes in cravings! Still not having any nausea side effects, thankfully. My appetite has definitely increased again, which usually means little boy is going through a growth spurt.
Yesterday was my last appointment spaced out at 4 weeks apart. Starting in 2 weeks, I’ll be going in every 2 weeks until the end! Yesterday was also my glucose test, so we’ll find out those results in the next few days if there’s any concern or discuss them at my next appointment.
+Not pregnancy related necessarily, but celebrating our 3 year anniversary on the 20th! It’s so hard to believe it was our last anniversary without kiddos.
+Crafting the first project from Greyson’s future nursery!
+Last week we started our birth class. I’ll be sharing more about that in the future, but it’s definitely already been super interesting, in a lot of ways!
+As part of the homework for our class, Steven has been helping me with daily exercises?and stretches. Especially now as we get closer to the end, I feel really good about stretching daily and building up strength for the delivery. It’s also been great for us to be building that team work now and starting to work towards our goals for the delivery.joyfullymad.com
