Golden Tote Review

Published: Oct 16, 2014 · Last Updated: Oct 19, 2017

*I was given this product for review and this post contains affiliate links

If you have been around here for a while, you’ll know that I’m all about convenience. Like?a lot of women, I enjoy shopping but lately I just haven’t had the time or money for it. So I was thrilled when I heard of another women’s clothing subscription box called Golden Tote! Golden Tote is essentially a grab box of clothing items that you get to?keep for one price! There are two options, 2-3 items (up to $200 value) for $49 or 5-7 items (up to $600 value)?for $149.

I was given the opportunity to try out the $149 box for this review. Each month on the first Monday of the month, they launch their newest sale. You can look at the items and decide whether or not you want to purchase the box for the month. If you do, you pick which price box and pick 1 item for the $49 tote or 2 items for the $149 tote that you’re guaranteed to get in your tote. The rest is a surprise!

The biggest difference in this subscription box and others is that it’s an all or nothing deal. What that means is you either keep the entire box or you return it (for a refund of course). Golden Tote has a Facebook group where members can sell and exchange items that they may not have liked in their tote.

Overall I think this is an awesome subscription box. I love that you get to keep all the items for the one price which is something unique to the women’s clothing subscription boxes that I’m aware of! The clothing is all great quality and I really liked the style! You fill out a profile before you begin and you can list things you were never wear to make sure that you don’t end up with your least favorite color or pattern!

This sweater is my absolute favorite in the tote! You can see more photos from my photoshoot with this sweater on this post. What I love about these kinds of clothing subscription boxes though is that it gives me a chance to branch out from my normal style. A lot of the items I received weren’t ones I would pick out for myself but after trying them on (in the comfort of my home!) I realized how much I liked these new styles.

If shopping is frustrating to you or you just like to try new things, you should definitely stop by and see what Golden Tote is all about!

Have you ever tried Golden Tote? What other subscription boxes do you love?

I love the aztec print on you! I’ve heard of this and was curious about the difference between this and everyone’s favorite Stitch Fix! Thanks for clearing that up!

This is a cool subscription box! Some of the other ones, can be super expensive, but this looks pretty affordable!! The last sweater you have photographed is my favorite and you look so cute in all of the clothes they sent you!!! 🙂

Thanks girl! I think it’s definitely affordable, I like the $49 option too just to get a few staple pieces each month!

And I will be trying this subscription box. I love that it’s much more affordable than Stitchfix (which I do enjoy but can’t keep everything) and the clothes are cute! I’ll be checking them out, for sure!

The wrap one?! Yeah me too!! I may get it hemmed, because it’s a tad bit too long for me.

You look so pretty Madison, I love that laughing photo 🙂 And I’ve been interested in box subscriptions for a while but haven’t taken the plunge yet. I think generally I prefer investing in one or two pieces of clothing that I’ve been loving for a long time already. But this is a great intro, so thank you:)
